I woke up with a headache, struggling to raise my head up and look around. My vision was blurry from the impact of the Grandmaster's fists. I felt slightly nauseous as I turned my head. I was able to hear the voice of the Grandmaster speaking, but it was inaudible to me as it was a bit muffled.
I grunted and groaned as I attempted to move my arms and legs. That's when I realized I was restrained, incapable of moving any part of my body. I could feel a warm energy wrap around several parts of my body. As I tried to move them, the energy tightened around my body parts.
I heard and felt the Grandmaster come closer to me. Feeling his hand touch the bottom of my chin and raise it upwards. My vision was still blurry, so I could barely make out his facial features. I did however attempt to grip my sword in my hand. Only for me to discover I wasn't holding it all. Panic started to rise in my chest when I found this out.
The grandmaster lets go of my chin and walks away. I can still barely hear him talking, but it wasn't to me. There were likely others in the room along with us. I didn't hear any voices besides Grandmaster, but his sentences didn't appear to be targeting me. Such sentences like, "You appear to be frightened of his power. I can assure you, it's not a problem."
Who was he talking to? I was hoping my senses would return to me. Which after several minutes of muffled sounds around me. My hearing cleared up, the muffled hearing along with the irritating ringing in my ears, my vision unfogged, and even my ability to smell returned. I was able to clearly see that I was in an unrecognizable room.
This one, appeared to be a room specially made for the Grandmaster. There were no windows, only a tall and large room with one hundred foot pillars. I was strapped to a table with magic energy strapping my body to it. The entire table and myself were ninety degrees vertical. I saw the grandmaster by his large throne. Much larger than the Headmaster thrones I've seen before.
I could tell that he was preoccupied with other headmasters in a deep conversation. This gave me the opportunity to look around for a plausible way to escape. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any nearby magic weapons or even the sword itself. I decided to hold out my hand more straight and open it up.
Unfortunately, as I attempted to call for the sword. It never came to, but I knew I could feel the energy of it somewhere. Likely locked away by the Grandmaster himself to keep it away from me. That bastard is smart if that's the case. Although, it made me think why he didn't just kill me or destroy the sword. He had the chance, but he didn't take it.
It's not long until one of the headmasters informed the grandmaster of my awakening. He turned toward me and scoffed, before beginning to make his way over to me with a smirk of gratitude. He stood a few feet away from me and looked into my eyes with a pleasant smile forming.
My expression turned to hatred as we locked eyes. "Well, isn't this grand?" I try to stay positive as we stare at each other. I don't say anything, keeping myself perfectly still. Even though he knows I'm alive and well. "The great soldier himself has come to try and put a stop to all of this. Now that is almost comical."
He glanced over to the headmasters beside him. I could tell that they were laughing from his words. "I'm sure you weren't expecting it to end like this, were you?" I stayed quiet despite him leaning in a bit. Trying to scare me into saying something for his own amusement. I wasn't going to play that game with him. I'm not an idiot.
He scoffed again before pulling back and facing the headmasters. "As you can see, he's perfectly harmless now. If he makes a single move, I'll take care of it. As it's clear at this point none of you are capable of doing that." The headmaster's didn't reply to this comment, they nodded their heads in defeat and agreement.
"Anyways, if you can please leave me with the soldier. I'd like to chat with him a little bit. Maybe open his eyes to the situation." The headmasters nod their heads again as they begin to turn around and begin making their way out. The Grandmaster watched patiently and calmly as they did so. Then, once the door closed behind the headmasters. The grandmaster turned to me and grinned evilly to me.
"I'm glad that you decided to come back to me. I knew you'd return." I continued to remain silent, but the Grandmaster only leaned in closer to me. I could see his yellow teeth and smell his disgusting breath. "I wonder, what are you thinking right now? Are you pleased with the results?"
I couldn't take it anymore, so I decided to finally speak up. "I came here to put a stop to your plans. Save the people of my planet from your terror." Grandmaster nods as his expression shows understanding.
"Really now? And what exactly is your planet?" I refuse to respond to him. Fearing the worst if I gave it to him. He only breathes in my face with a disgusting scent. "Hm? Where.. are.. you.. from?" I continue to refuse to respond to him. Knowing full well that if I say anything, it'll be bad for my friends and family, and everyone else who lives back at home.
"I guess you don't want to say anything." He turns around and begins making his way over to something off the side. I couldn't tell what it was as it was out of my view. I heard him moving something, before coming back to me and began to turn the table I was strapped onto. Turning it to face what appeared to be a large magic energy laser canon.
It was fully activated as I heard it rumble softly. "If you don't want to say where you are from. Then, I suppose I'm going to just have to let my probe search for it. Once it finds your home, it'll send something down to destroy the planet all by itself." He stood beside it and slowly turned it toward a part of the wall. That's when he pushes a button, causing the wall to separate and form an opening into space.
Luckily, like the many times I've seen before. None of the air leaked out as it was kept inside with another magical field. He aimed the canon toward the opening, and got behind it. He presses an activation button, which causes the canon to begin hurling into motion. The sound slowly started to grow louder as I saw the meter on the side begin to steadily light up by each second.
I attempt to force myself to escape. I didn't want this canon to shoot out the probe. If it found my planet, then surely it would be the last time I'd ever see my family and friends. Grandmaster grinned widely as he watched me. Right as the cannon is fully activated, the Grandmaster presses the next button. This one, causes the canon to instantly fire out the burst of energy into space.
I stop trying to escape, and begin to relax myself. I couldn't stop it, I mean it was impossible. I was strapped and couldn't do anything. However, it's only after a few minutes that I remembered something. What I did before I left the planet. I warned the Teen Ten about something like this potentially happening. The good thing is that it wasn't the Grandmaster himself.
Which means, they might have a chance of stopping this probe. I just hope they can, because now it is up to them to deal with. For me on the other hand, it's my job to stop Robanians. The Grandmaster was going to pay for his crimes, even if it means my own demise. The grandmaster laughed out loud as he came over to me. "Now would you look at that? You now have a choice of escaping, or staying. However, it'll only end up with you being the lone survivor of your species." He laughs again evilly before making his way out of the room. Leaving me alone still strapped with energy.
